Chocolate Fudge Pie

Who doesn't love fudge pie?!  

Chocolate Fudge Pie

Ingredients
1 8" Baked Pie Shell
1 15 oz condensed milk
2 oz unsweetened chocolate
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 Hot Water
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 cup Whipped Cream

Directions
  1. Pour condensed milk into top of a double broiler.  Add chocolate and salt. 
  2. Cook rapidly over boiling water, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and drops from spoon (about 4-8 minutes). 
  3. Gradually stir in the hot water and then continue cooking until the mixture thickens again, about 2-3 minutes. 
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and then pour into pastry shell.
  5. Cool and the refrigerate until serving time, upon which you should top with whipped cream.
