Jazzed Up Burgers

In my opinion, when you have great ground chuck, you shouldn't add anything to it other than salt.  However, for those times that your beef source isn't the best, this recipe will help elevate those burgers.

Jazzed Up Burgers

Ingredients
1 Egg, beaten
2 tsp Worcestershire
1 tsp Dijon (or regular) Mustard
1/3 Cup Italian Seasoned Panko (or non-Panko) Bread Crumbs
1 Tbsp of Cream or Milk
1 Garlic Clove, minced or 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Salt
1 lb 80% Ground Chuck
Butter

Directions
  1. Combine all the ingredients except the beef.  Whisk, and then fold in the meat.  Be careful not to over mix.
  2. Patty into burgers and heat a griddle or pan to medium-high heat.
  3. Butter the griddle and place the patties on the butter and press with a spatula.  Cook for a few minutes and then flip, adding more butter if necessary.  Press with the spatula again and cook for a few minutes more. Serve.
