Slow Cooker Pork & Sauerkraut

I learned about this recipe several years ago, from my lovely Sister-in-Law Brittany.  It is one of those great recipes that is both amazingly easy and inexpensive.  It literally has only three ingredients, and has the added bonus of being able to feed a large amount of people.

INGREDIENTS
1.5 pounds of boneless country style pork ribs
2 pounds of of sauerkraut, undrained
1/4 cup of water

DIRECTIONS

1. Put the pork in the slow cooker

2. Put the sauerkraut on top

3. Pour in the water

4. Turn the slow cooker to low and cook for 8-10 hours

5. Serve in bowls with crusty bread

*Note #1: You can make this with bone-in country style pork ribs if you like, just remember to pull out the bones before you serve it.
*Note #2: The amount of sauerkraut and pork can really be whatever you want it to be; I try to keep the sauerkraut ratio a bit higher than the pork.
*Note #3: I personally think the dish benefits from having a side of crusty bread with it for some taste variation.
